Born again SLOGAN

 

Matthew 7:13-14

King James Version

13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: 

for wide is the gate, 

and broad is the way, 

that leadeth to destruction, 

and many there be which go in thereat:

14 Because strait is the gate, 

and narrow is the way, 

which leadeth unto life, 

and few there be that find it.

SPIRIT led me to it last night.

On how the world could be better.

With a 6-word slogan:

No war.

No wastefulness.

Only WORSHIP.

Pretty self explanatory.

No war, for it's destructive.

JESUS asked we love each other.

John 13:34-35

King James Version

34 A new commandment I give unto you, 

That ye love one another; 

as I have loved you, 

that ye also love one another.

35 By this shall all men know 

that ye are my disciples, 

if ye have love one to another.

No wastefulness.

The world likes upgrading all the time, and dumping what are still usable things.

It's all vanity.

Ecclesiastes 1:14

King James Version

14 I have seen all the works 

that are done under the sun; 

and, behold, 

all is vanity and vexation of spirit.

Only WORSHIP.

Who do we worship?

A born again only worships GOD.

Exodus 20:1-6

King James Version

20 And God spake all these words, 

saying,

2 I am the Lord thy God, 

which have brought thee 

out of the land of Egypt, 

out of the house of bondage.

3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

4 Thou shalt not make unto thee 

any graven image, 

or any likeness of any thing 

that is in heaven above, 

or that is in the earth beneath, 

or that is in the water under the earth.

5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, 

nor serve them: 

for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, 

visiting the iniquity of the fathers 

upon the children 

unto the third and fourth generation 

of them that hate me;

6 And shewing mercy unto thousands 

of them that love me, 

and keep my commandments.

A born again keeps things simple.

Almost childlike.

JESUS asks we "become as little children".

Matthew 18:3-4

3 And said, 

Verily I say unto you, 

Except ye be converted, 

and become as little children, 

ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself 

as this little child, 

the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

TRUE born agains purposely keep life simple.

That we may focus on CHRIST alone.

Colossians 3:1-2

King James Version

3 If ye then be risen with Christ, 

seek those things which are above, 

where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

2 Set your affection on things above, 

not on things on the earth.

WASHED by the WORD

 

1 Peter 1:23

King James Version

23 Being born again, 

not of corruptible seed, 

but of incorruptible, 

by the word of God, 

which liveth and abideth for ever.

We don't need spells.

We don't need incantations.

We don't need any other ritual.

We only need GOD's WORD.

That we may know JESUS, and be saved.

And be washed from our sins.

For JESUS is the WORD.

John 1:14

14 And the Word was made flesh, 

and dwelt among us, 

(and we beheld his glory, 

the glory as of the only begotten 

of the Father,) 

full of grace and truth.

We are washed by the WORD.

Ephesians 5:25-27

King James Version

25 Husbands, love your wives, 

even as Christ also loved the church, 

and gave himself for it;

26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it 

with the washing of water by the word,

27 That he might present it to himself 

a glorious church, 

not having spot, 

or wrinkle, 

or any such thing; 

but that it should be holy 

and without blemish.

That's why JESUS said we HAVE to be BORN AGAIN.

That we may be BORN of WATER, and of the SPIRIT.

John 3:5-7

5 Jesus answered, 

Verily, verily, I say unto thee, 

Except a man be born of water 

and of the Spirit, 

he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; 

and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, 

Ye must be born again.

The WORD has REGENERATING power.

Titus 3:4-5

4 But after that the kindness and love 

of God our Saviour toward man appeared,

5 Not by works of righteousness 

which we have done, 

but according to his mercy he saved us, 

by the washing of regeneration, 

and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

For GOD is the FOUNTAIN of LIVING WATERS.

Jeremiah 2:13

13 For my people have committed two evils;

the fountain of living waters, 

and hewed them out cisterns, 

broken cisterns, 

that can hold no water.

He is the LIVING GOD.

Jeremiah 10:10

10 But the Lord is the true God, 

he is the living God, 

and an everlasting king: 

at his wrath the earth shall tremble, 

and the nations shall not be able to abide 

his indignation.

His SPIRIT gives LIFE.

2 Corinthians 3:6

but of the spirit: 

for the letter killeth, 

but the spirit giveth life.

LIFE can only come from the LIVING GOD.

Which He gave us, through His Son, JESUS.

John 3:16

that whosoever believeth in him 

should not perish, 

but have everlasting life.

It is time to LISTEN to the WORD of GOD.

And to LIVE by FAITH.

And to revere the WORD of TRUTH.

2 Timothy 2:15

15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God,

The HOUR is COMING

 

1 John 2:18

18 Little children, it is the last time: 

and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, 

even now are there many antichrists; 

whereby we know that it is the last time.

Warnings came from the LORD.

"The hour is coming."

Wake up to JESUS.

And be saved.

John 4:21

21 Jesus saith unto her, 

Woman, believe me, 

the hour cometh, 

when ye shall neither in this mountain, 

nor yet at Jerusalem, 

worship the Father.

John 4:23

23 But the hour cometh, 

and now is, 

when the true worshippers 

shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: 

for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

John 5:25

The hour is coming,

We are to watch and to pray.

To be prepared at ALL times.

For ONLY GOD knows the hour.

Mark 13:32

but the Father.

We are to be born again.

That we may understand things of the SPIRIT.

And be taught by GOD's SPIRIT.

The PLIGHT of the BIRD BRAIN

 

Psalm 18:30

King James Version

30 As for God, 

his way is perfect: 

the word of the Lord is tried: 

he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.

I was a bird-brain once.

Wise to the ways of the world.

Flying loftily, with no real direction.

Till GOD said, "ENOUGH of that foolishness!"

Of course, GOD knew it would take a while.

Bird brain, remember?

GOD had forever; I didn't.

The reckoning came nearly three years ago.

I wanted to think BIG.

GOD gave me a born again brain.

Awakened by the SPIRIT of GOD, I saw the accelerating chaos in the world.

We've become too many bird-brains around.

I can almost hear real birds refusing to be aligned with us.

After all, real birds have homing devices.

They know when to migrate, where to eat, what to avoid.

They have such natural intelligence.

They're subject to the laws of creation.

How GOD loves sparrows.

Matthew 10:29

29 Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? 

and one of them shall not fall on the ground 

without your Father.

Humans?

We keep at foolishness, long after we should have stopped.

Birds don't sin.

Humans do.

Birds have survival instincts.

Humans could do a better job.

I forgive the birds for not wanting to have anything to do with us.

But you know what being bird-brain means, right?

Tiny brains, folks.

We have such tiny, ossified, calcified brains.

I'd rather we have big hearts, and tiny brains.

Rather than tiny hearts, and tiny brains.

Recipe for disaster.

That's why the LORD JESUS was sent.

And He gave up His life for unbelieving generations, that we may be saved.

GOD saved me in the nick of time, over 30 months ago.

Of course, a challenge presented itself:

Now, how do I pack this knowledge in this tiny brain of hers?

Hmm...

GOD knew what to do.

Take away everything she has, and had.

Make nothing work for her.

GROW a NEW brain.

GIVE her a NEW heart.

GOD was pleased.

Now, former bird brain can fly with SPIRIT.

He is presented as a white dove, after all.

Matthew 3:16-17

16 And Jesus, 

when he was baptized, 

went up straightway out of the water: 

and, lo, 

the heavens were opened unto him, 

and he saw the Spirit of God 

descending like a dove, 

and lighting upon him:
