Luke 4:40-41
King James Version
40 Now when the sun was setting,
all they that had any sick with divers diseases
brought them unto him;
and he laid his hands on every one of them,
and healed them.
41 And devils also came out of many,
crying out, and saying,
Thou art Christ the Son of God.
And he rebuking them suffered them not to speak:
for they knew that he was Christ.
We have no idea the real battle.
It's a battle for our souls.
Be not of a proud heart.
Be not of a willful spirit.
Be not confident in your own abilities.
Be not deluded into thinking you are invincible.
At any given moment, GOD could cut that pride of yours.
Proverbs 16:18

18 Pride goeth before destruction,
and an haughty spirit before a fall.
The bigger the pride, the bigger the fall.
As Lucifer experienced:
Isaiah 14:12-15

12 How art thou fallen from heaven,
O Lucifer, son of the morning!
how art thou cut down to the ground,
which didst weaken the nations!
13 For thou hast said in thine heart,
I will ascend into heaven,
I will exalt my throne above the stars of God:
I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation,
in the sides of the north:
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds;
I will be like the most High.
15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell,
to the sides of the pit.
Be not like Lucifer.
Who wanted everything GOD was.
But, of course, that's not possible.
There is only ONE GOD.
Satan is all over the place, seeking whom he can "ambush".
He is especially keen on "unbelievers":
2 Corinthians 4:4

4 In whom the god of this world
hath blinded the minds of them
which believe not,
lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ,
who is the image of God,
should shine unto them.
He works through "children of disobedience":
Ephesians 2:2

2 Wherein in time past ye walked
according to the course of this world,
according to the prince of the power of the air,
the spirit that now worketh
in the children of disobedience:
He perpetually waits to see whom he may "devour":
1 Peter 5:8-9

8 Be sober, be vigilant;
because your adversary the devil,
as a roaring lion, walketh about,
seeking whom he may devour:
9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith,
knowing that the same afflictions
are accomplished in your brethren
that are in the world.
Scripture gives us an idea the dominion of devils:
Ephesians 6:12

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood,
but against principalities,
against powers,
against the rulers of the darkness of this world,
against spiritual wickedness in high places.
If the world seems especially wicked, chaotic, hopeless, and unnatural, it's because Satan's working double time.
Revelation 12:12

12 Therefore rejoice,
ye heavens,
and ye that dwell in them.
Woe to the inhabiters of the earth
and of the sea!
for the devil is come down unto you,
having great wrath,
because he knoweth
that he hath but a short time.
Our only recourse is to be born again.
That we may be taught by SPIRIT about JESUS.
That we may know, and honor, the LAWS of GOD.
That we may be saved from our sins, through REPENTANCE.
That we may be part of the Rapture.
And that Satan may never find a home in us.
STOP all foolishness now.
TURN to JESUS now!
James 4:7

7 Submit yourselves therefore to God.
Resist the devil,
and he will flee from you.
How can the devil not flee?
He, and his minions, know, and fear, the SON of GOD:
Mark 3:11-12

11 And unclean spirits,
when they saw him,
fell down before him,
and cried, saying,
Thou art the Son of God.
12 And he straitly charged them
that they should not make him known.
GOD's purpose is clear:
1 Timothy 2:4

4 Who will have all men to be saved,
and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
Know who you're fighting with.
In this wide, wicked world, it's surely the devil.
We all need JESUS to save us from the throes of hell.
Acts 4:12
King James Version
12 Neither is there salvation in any other:
for there is none other name under heaven
given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Don't let Satan take up residence in your heart, soul, and home.
TURN to JESUS now.
And be saved!
